Hi, I’m Ana Perez, founder of Amarte Studio.

From a young age, I’ve always loved creating. My first dream was to be a singer—and in a way, I lived that dream. I spent much of my childhood singing in a church group, performing in different communities and connecting with people through music.

In high school, I chose to study Electronics because it was considered one of the most challenging paths. I wanted to prove to myself that I could succeed in something difficult—and I did, but it was a painful process. It helped me realize that success without passion doesn’t feel right. So I made a decision: to follow what I truly loved.

In my graduation speech, I said:“El mundo está en manos de aquellos que tienen el coraje de soñar y correr el riesgo de vivir sus sueños.”, “The world is in the hands of those who have the courage to dream and take the risk to live their dreams.”

Since then, I’ve tried to live by that every day.

I went on to study Communications with a focus on Journalism. My dream was to tell stories, but early on I realized I didn’t yet have the stories I wanted to tell. What I did have was a deep curiosity about other people’s stories. I truly believe everyone has something meaningful to share. I spent two years working in different radio stations in my city, learning how to amplify voices. Some of my favorite moments were inviting community members to share their experiences on air. My life felt beautiful—it was starting to take shape in a way that felt right.

Then, everything changed. My family moved to the United States.

Starting over in a new country without knowing English forced me to reimagine my entire path. I couldn’t continue in communications the way I knew it—I simply didn’t have the language yet. But in that uncertainty, I discovered graphic design. I fell in love with it immediately. It became a new way for me to tell stories—through visuals, through design, through emotion. If life hadn’t challenged me in that way, I might have never found this passion.

My journey in the U.S. has been full of ups and downs, but also full of incredible people—mentors, supporters, and opportunities that shaped who I am today. I’m deeply grateful for every step, every lesson, every moment that pushed me forward.

Along the way, I graduated from three universities, earned a full scholarship for my master’s degree, managed major design projects, and contributed to initiatives like Downtown Hazleton. Everything I’ve done has been rooted in the same intention: to create value, to help people, and to support communities—especially students, small businesses, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits.

I started Amarte Studio quietly, with a strong sense of responsibility and a commitment to excellence. I also saw something missing—especially here in NEPA. There weren’t many agencies offering bilingual marketing in a way that felt real, intentional, and culturally connected. That’s the space I wanted to fill.

I feel incredibly grateful to work with clients who value quality, have high standards, and trust me to bring their ideas to life.

Why Amarte Studio?

“Amarte” is personal. It combines my initials and my second-to-last name, Marte. In Spanish, Marte is the planet Mars—often associated with energy and boldness. The word amarte also means “to love yourself,” which I’ve always found powerful. And within it, you’ll find the word art—in both English and Spanish—which reflects the heart of what we do.

“Studio” represents something intimate and intentional. Not mass-produced, but carefully crafted. A space where ideas are built with care.

A New Chapter

Launching this website is a huge milestone for me. It’s something I’ve been building toward for years. After quietly doing the work, this is a step forward—sharing Amarte Studio more openly with the world.

It’s also a reflection of the trust our clients have placed in us. The referrals, the collaborations, the belief in what we do—it all matters.

Amarte Studio is not just another marketing firm. We exist to connect with audiences that are often overlooked—especially in NEPA and here in the Greater Hazleton area. We understand the culture, the language, and the stories—and we design with that in mind.

This is just the beginning.
